On March 1, I'm hosting Ayman Boujlida. Ayman has found a unique musical voice as a result of his passion for jazz and his natural Tunisian folk music. The New York-based artist has been playing with jazz artists and Grammy winners and has led his band at festivals to include the Carthage international festival, the Dubai Jazz festival, Reykjavik Jazz Festival, a performance that was critically acclaimed for showcasing his multi-instrumentalist skills and original compositions. He's winner of the AFAC 2016 composers award, among others. In the words of Miles Davis' drummer Jimmy Cobb: Ayman has a "very mature and musical way of approaching odd meters – I haven't heard any better."
